Arsenal Ladies in Japan: latest pictures
Arsenal Ladies are well into their Japan Charity Tour and have been very busy since arriving in the Far East.
There was no let-up on Sunday with an early breakfast and a hasty exit from their Tokyo hotel before the squad boarded a bullet train to Kyoto.
The players took some time to peruse the sights of this historic city before heading back to their new base for a night of recuperation, Japanese-style.
Players donned kimonos in preparation for a banquet spread of traditional Japanese food. Plates of tofu, Matsutake mushrooms, tempura and bean curd were washed down with Japanese tea and... Coca-Cola.
On Tuesday it’s back to Tokyo and the serious business of preparing for Wednesday’s game with Japan league champions INAC Kobe. Look out for more pictures on Arsenal.com soon.
