Arsenal Ladies face delayed start to season
Arsenal Ladies' fixture list for the 2009/10 campaign has been announced.
Tony Gervaise's team are scheduled to kick off against Chelsea on Sunday, August 16 but this match - and a number of others - will be rearranged with many Arsenal stars on duty at this summer's European Championships.
The tournament will be held in Finland from August 23 to September 10 and Arsenal are unlikely to play until their England players return. That will mean a belated start to the season, possibly as late as September 13. Stay close to Arsenal.com for the latest fixture information.
Dates for the re-branded Women's Champions League have also been revealed and Arsenal are due to play their first two-legged tie on September 30 and October 7.
