On playing in such a convincing win…
I think everyone was more than up for it. We said in a little huddle before the game that we weren’t pleased with the performance we put in out there [in the first leg] so the first 20 minutes we set the tempo of the game. As the game went on it was important because we’ve always been told not to concede and you never do want to concede.

On what it was like getting 90 minutes under her belt…
I actually enjoyed playing today and it’s nice to enjoy playing a game. We’ve only played two games and after the last one everybody came off the pitch unsatisfied with the way we had played. We like playing here [at Boreham Wood] and [the pitch] suits our way of playing so we’ll have to address the fact we wont always play on nice pitches. It’s nice to be back home and playing. Our next game will be at a different level and it’s important we prepare for that.

On not playing regular football...
I feel as if I want more matches. Going away [with the England squad] for me and a few of the girls will help because we’ll get competitive games. You can only do so much in training and this week our training leading into this game was really good. Our level and tempo was good and the players looked like they were hungry. When the harder games come, fitness wise we will have to push ourselves a bit more.

On new signings at the Club…
There’s a few players that haven’t experienced playing in the Champions League and their exuberance and the way they look forward to it is refreshing and adds that little bit more to the team. Champions League games are always exciting to be a apart of.
