Kieran Gibbs will have surgery on his foot in order to fully recover from the serious injury that he sustained in November and is expected to miss the rest of this season. Kieran suffered a depressed open fracture to his first metatarsal on his left foot during the Champions League match game against Standard Liege in November.

Johan Djourou
February 8
Johan suffered a knee injury while on international duty in August and is expected to return to action in two months time. "It is still two months for Johan," said Wenger on Thursday, February 4. "We have to be patient with him. He is working well and progressing well. But he is not an immediate resource."

Robin Van Persie
February 8
Robin was injured during Holland's friendly against Italy in November and, after an initial diagnosis suggested he would be out for six weeks, it was discovered that the 26-year-old would need to undergo surgery. According to Arsène Wenger, Robin could return before the end of the season. "For Robin, the rehabilitation is going well but anything before April would be a little bit premature," said the manager on Thursday, February 4
