Robin Van Persie
November 19

Robin was stretchered off during Holland's international friendly with Italy in Pescara on Saturday, November 14 with ankle ligament damage. He is expected to be out for around six weeks.
"We knew that when Robin came out with this injury, that he would be out for a long time," said Arsène Wenger. "So it was a relief that he would be out for six weeks."

 

Kieran Gibbs
November 19

Kieran sustained severe bruising to the bones and soft tissue of his right foot during England Under-21s' match against Lithuania. He will miss the trip to Sunderland. "He will be out for Sunderland but maybe we could have him back for Standard Liege on Tuesday," said Arsène Wenger.

 

Theo Walcott
November 19
Theo has been sidelined by a knee injury and is expected to return to action soon. However, he will be unavailable for Saturday's clash with Sunderland. "Theo Walcott is short for the weekend," said Arsène Wenger.

 

Jack Wilshere
November 19

Jack Wilshere has missed the last four games with an ankle injury and will be unavailable for the trip to Sunderland. "Jack Wilshere (ankle) is short for the weekend," Wenger told Arsenal TV Online.

 

Denilson
November 19

Denilson has not played since September 12 but will make the trip to Sunderland. "Denilson is available and in the squad for the weekend game," said Wenger.

 

Armand Traore
November 19

Armand Traore is fit again after a groin injury and is available for Saturday's trip to Sunderland. "Traore and is fit and available," said manager Wenger.

 

Carlos Vela
November 19

Carlos has recovered from a knee injury after missing the last four games. Vela is fit and available [for the Sunderland game]," said Arsène Wenger.

 

Lukasz Fabianski
November 19

Lukasz picked up a thigh injury in the Carling Cup win over Liverpool but was declared fit ahead of the Sunderland match. "Fabianski is available," said Wenger.

 

Nicklas Bendtner
November 19

Nicklas Bendtner underwent groin surgery in Germany on November 10 and is now three weeks away from a return. "Bendtner is out for three more weeks," Arsène Wenger told Arsenal TV Online ahead of the trip to Sunderland.

 

Abou Diaby
November 19
Abou Diaby has a calf injury but could return for the Chelsea match on November 29. "Diaby has a little chance for Chelsea," said Wenger.

 

Gael Clichy
November 9

Gael Clichy has suffered a back injury. "We have lost Gael Clichy with a back injury which was not expected," confirmed Wenger ahead of the Alkmaar match on November 4. "It looks like he could be out for a while. We fear a stress fracture and if that is the case, he will be out for a few weeks."

 

Johan Djourou
November 9
Johan suffered a knee injury while on international duty in August and faces a lengthy lay-off. “Johan is [out for] six to eight months,” Wenger said. “He had big surgery, and it is a big blow for him and the Club. He will have to be patient this season.”
