The Mind Series, v Chelsea
The Mind Series, v Chelsea

As previously announced, we will come together with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur this summer to support better mental health by taking part in The Mind Series.

Following the Government’s confirmation that restrictions on large outdoor events have been lifted, we are delighted to confirm we can welcome back a near-capacity crowd to Emirates Stadium for our home fixture against Chelsea on Sunday, August 1. Tickets for our Mind Series home fixture will also include a women’s fixture between Arsenal Women v Chelsea Women kicking off at 12:15pm, followed by the men’s game at 3pm.

Funds raised from the series will be split between Mind and each of the club’s charitable foundations who all deliver projects to support mental health and wellbeing in communities both at home and overseas.

£5 from the sale of each match ticket will be donated to Mind and The Arsenal Foundation with 25 per cent of this amount being donated to Mind and 75 per cent being donated to The Arsenal Foundation* with Mind receiving 25 per cent of proceeds from each of the three matches in The Mind Series and with each club’s foundation receiving 75 per cent of proceeds from that club’s respective home match.

Each organisation will use its donation to support mental health and wellbeing projects in communities both at home and overseas. The three clubs will also use their collective voice to promote better mental health awareness.

Please note: Arsenal Women's members will shortly receive an email detailing how tickets can be purchased.

Mind’s own survey of 16,000 people during the initial lockdown also found that two in three young people (68 per cent) and three in five adults (60 per cent) said their mental health had got worse.
