Arsenal Football Club’s match against Manchester United on Saturday, November 8 marked Remembrance Sunday and honoured those servicemen and women who give their lives for peace.

To mark the occasion, Arsenal players wore a special one-off shirt with a poppy embroidered into their red and white jersey.  Arsenal supporters can be in with a chance of winning one of these special edition shirts at tonight’s match by buying a raffle ticket for £1 from the matchday programme sellers in the upper and lower concourses inside Emirates Stadium.

The winning ticket will be drawn just after kick-off and will be announced at half-time – so be sure to listen out!  The winner will be asked to go to the Media Entrance next to The Armoury Megastore on Hornsey Road after final whistle to pick up the shirt worn and signed by Johan Djourou.

Supporters may also be interested to know that the shirt worn by Samir Nasri, who found the back of the net twice in the 2-1 victory over Manchester United, will be posted on online auction site eBay on Thursday, November 27.  All funds raised from the initiatives will go to The Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes.
