Be a Gunner Be a Runner – 5th April 2014

Many congratulations to 16 year old Jacob Hine (Purple Member) who was the first male to complete the 6.4km Be a Gunner Be a Runner route on Saturday 5th April.

Congratulations also to Disability Liaison Team member Tim Pollard who completed the run and raised £120.00. Also well done to Paul Smith who, on Sunday, took just 6 hours 7 minutes to complete a gruelling 100 miles around the outside of Emirates Stadium and in doing so Paul raised £1,371.60.

STOP PRESS  - The Registered Disabled Supporters (Purple Membership) Scheme is now CLOSED for the 2013/2014 season. All completed applications received up until 5.00pm on Monday 10th March will still be processed. However, because there are now only a few games remaining before the end of the current season the Disability Liaison Team cannot guarantee that those disabled supporters who have/are in the process of joining the Purple Membership scheme will be allocated tickets before the 2013/2014 season closes.

Ticket Transfer: A New Service for Disabled Supporters

The Disabled Supporters Ticket Transfer Service will enable Season Ticket holders who are unable to attend a game to either transfer their season ticket places to another Registered Disabled Supporter (Purple Member) or to a disabled supporter who is not a member. However, in the case of a transfer to a non- member either you or the disabled supporter concerned will have to provide the required proof of disability before the ticket transfer can be made.

Disabled Supporters will be able to use the Ticket Transfer Service via the Disability Liaison Team and NOT online. This is to ensure that (a) the carer/companion seat gets included in the Ticket Transfer and (b) that the disabled supporters concessionary ticket scheme is not abused in any way.

The Ticket Transfer Service will come into operation once a game has sold out and will operate alongside the existing Disabled Supporters Ticket Exchange Scheme. For further information please contact the Disability Liaison Team on 020 7619 5050.

Important information regarding match day parking arrangements.

Therefore, from now on please do not arrive in Queensland Road before 12.30pm, for a 3.00pm kick off or before 5.30pm for a 7.45pm kick off. If you do arrive before these times you will not be allowed to enter Queensland Road.

In line with the Club’s Cup Final ticket policy once the Disabled Supporters Ticket allocation has been confirmed it will be allocated as follows;

Priority Period 1: Platinum and Gold members (season ticket holders) who have attended three or more away fixtures registered to their current 2013/14 membership, will be guaranteed a ticket as long as they purchase in their priority period. This will be based on the past two consecutive seasons from August 13, 2011 – April 6, 2014.

Priority Period 2: Any remaining tickets will be available to Platinum and Gold Members (season ticket holders)  who have attended less than three away fixtures from August 13, 2011 to April 6, 2014. In the likely event that Priority 2 will be oversubscribed successful applicants will be determined by a random ballot.

Current Platinum & Gold members  (season ticket holders) can now register under Priority 1 or 2. Click here for registration form. Priority 1 & 2 Registrations will close at 11.00am on Thursday 24th April 2014.

DISABLED SUPPORTERS TICKET EXCHANGE (TX)

Ticket Exchange works in the following way: Registered Disabled Season ticket holders, (Gold Members) who find that they are unable to attend a game, may email their details to disabilitytickets@arsenal.co.uk, with Ticket Exchange in the subject heading, or telephone the Disability Liaison Team on  020 7619 5050 and post their tickets for sale to Registered disabled supporters - Purple Members (subject to restrictions).

Registered disabled supporters - Purple Members looking for tickets may register an interest by completing the Ticket Exchange – Buy form. Importantly, the exchange will only come into operation on matches that have sold out. If submitting the form by email to disabilitytickets@arsenal.co.uk, supporters must ensure that Ticket Exchange Buy and the game concerned are in the subject heading.

Season Ticket holders who successfully sell their seat will have their membership card deactivated for that match. The value of all ticket(s) sold will be held in an account until the end of the season: this will be deducted from the following season’s membership fee (Season Ticket renewal). Only upon completion of each successful Ticket Exchange transaction is the seller’s membership card automatically deactivated which then activates the purchaser’s membership card.

We are unable to guarantee that seats that have been offered for sale will be sold. The seller of the ticket will be charged a nominal administration fee of approximately 10% which will fund the development and operation of the Ticket Exchange. The seller will therefore receive approximately 90% of the paid ticket value.

Ticket Exchange Buy and Ticket Exchange Sell forms can be found beneath all games marked Sold Out - TX.
