Travel Clarification for Members

We would like to bring to your attention a misprint in the Silver and Red membership renewal forms you received for the forthcoming season 2008-2009, and would also like to clear up some confusion around the Travel Club membership.

We have received a number of enquiries through our contact centre regarding both these issues

The forms went out with the following misprint:

“As a member you'll also have the ability to book away match tickets (On a loyalty point basis) and book officially organised travel”

When it should have read:

“As a member you'll also have the ability to book away match tickets and book officially organised travel”

Therefore for clarification:

Similar to last season, points are not applicable for the sale of Away Match tickets to Silver and Red Members.

Dependent upon ticket availability for Away Match tickets, Silver and Red members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets during the relevant priority booking period announced. This is once the initial priority booking period is complete for Platinum, Gold and existing Travel Club members.

Also for clarification we will not be accepting any new members of the Travel Club, if you are a current member of the Travel Club who holds either Red or Silver Membership you will need to renew your Travel Club membership to purchase tickets for away fixtures at the same priority period as a Platinum and Gold level member.

(Loyalty points will only be used for sales of away tickets to the following membership: Platinum, Gold, existing Travel Club during their priority period).

We do apologise for the misprint and the confusion and trust the above now clarifies the new benefits.
