The Club currently has one of the biggest paid for club membership schemes in the game with more than 200,000 members, and today announced a range of new tiers designed to attract thousands more members in the UK and abroad.
From the start of next season, supporters who join the Club’s membership scheme will have access to a range of new benefits improving the membership experience for fans both in the UK and abroad.
With the introduction of digital membership and Junior Gunners Lite, all members will have increased flexibility in how they want their Club membership to work.
Digital membership will launch in August 2013, and is a free membership which will allow adult and junior fans around the world to enjoy the benefits of being a member of the Club at the click of a button. Digital members will have access to exclusive weekly e-newsletters full of news and offers, and full access to our online video service Arsenal Player.
Junior Gunners Lite, which is aimed at supporters under 16, will be introduced allowing members access to benefits including discounted tickets and player events from just £10 per season. This follows the announcement that from next season, the Club’s 12-16 year old members - The Young Guns - will be able to buy tickets in an exclusive enclosure where they can come to Premier League games with their friends and really contribute to the atmosphere at Emirates Stadium.
In another development of the membership scheme all Silver, Red, Cannon Club and Junior Gunner members aged four-16 years old who want to guarantee their seats at Emirates Stadium every week, will be able to join the season ticket waiting list with Membership Plus and pay an extra £4 per season for three consecutive seasons. Once offered a season ticket, this will be taken off the first payment.
Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis said: “ We have worked hard to provide adult and junior supporters with real flexibility. We hope that the introduction of a Digital and Lite membership scheme means that more supporters can be part our Arsenal family with some wonderful benefits.”
With new memberships opening on 11th June 2013, Arsenal fans can register their interest in becoming a member by clicking here and completing the form.Copyright 2016 The Arsenal Football Club plc.
