Arsenal Ladies registered a 50th consecutive League win with a 3-0
victory over Birmingham City at Boreham Wood FC on Sunday.

Wales captain Jayne Ludlow headed home a Rachel Yankey corner
midway through the opening period, handing the Gunners a half-time
lead.

After the interval the hosts' class prevailed with Lianne
Sanderson the provider of two further goals. First, she turned her
marker inside out and fired low into the left corner from just
inside the box. Then Sanderson unleashed a fierce drive from a
tight angle which the Blues' keeper could only parry into her
own net. Sanderson's goals, her 22nd and 23rd of the season,
leave her clear at the top of the scoring charts.

Vic Akers' side travel to Birmingham for the reverse fixture on
Thursday, April 3. The match will be played at Redditch FC,
kick-off 7.45pm.
