Fonte, Murphy (2)

Rhys Murphy could be one to watch.

The young striker hit his fourth brace in as many matches on
Saturday to help Arsenal Under-18s earn three points at
Crystal Palace.

Steve Bould's young side have now taken victory in each of
their last five matches, a period in which Murphy has registered
nine goals - half the team's total.

Portuguese striker Rui Fonte opened the scoring for the Gunners
in the first half but Palace levelled before the break. Murphy then
struck on 55 and 80 minutes to extend his own impressive record and
stretch Arsenal's unbeaten start to seven games.

Bould's youngsters remain third in the Academy league, five
points behind leaders Chelsea but with a game in hand.

Attendance: 271
