Together with Arsenal Soccer Schools we will be bringing you a range of skills throughout the season which you can learn, practice and perfect to give you the edge over your opponents whenever you play as well as impressing your friends.
The latest skill to learn is...The Ramsey Rollover

STEP 1
Move your body into a position that looks like you are going to play a pass to a team mate, lifting your arm for balance.

STEP 2
Plant your non-kicking foot to the side of the ball and bend this leg to take most of your weight and generate power into the pass.

STEP 3
Lift your kicking foot and move it towards the ball.

STEP 4
Using your instep make contact with the top of the ball - not the centre as you would if you were passing, and move your over the top from one side of the ball to the other so that your foot never loses contact with the ball, but the point of contact changes from your instep to your sole, to the outside of your foot.

STEP 5
Using the outside of your foot push the ball away from you in the opposite direction to the way your foot was moving.

STEP 6
Bend your legs to help generate power.

STEP 7
Accelerate away keeping the ball under enough control so that it doesn't move too far away from you.

STEP 8
Move off into space in the direction you have turned in.
