Young fans enjoy action packed night

Arsenal may have been defeated 2-0 by Chelsea in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday evening, but for a group of Junior Gunners, it was still a matchday to remember.

With the JGs celebrating its 30th anniversary this season, there were loads of special JG-related activities organised around the game.

Six JGs and their parents won the chance to see the teams arrive, and then watch the game from an Executive Box.

12 more young fans went one stage further, forming a ‘Guard of Honour’ to welcome the teams onto the pitch for kick-off.

Another group of JGs were given a behind the scenes tour of Emirates Stadium after the match. They were taken pitchside moments after the final whistle and went past the changing rooms too.

The Club also continued its traditional League Cup policy of offering under-16s tickets from £5 for the match.
