In a squad full of characters, few could be forgiven for wanting a bit of something from somebody else.
We spoke to Per Mertesacker and asked him what he would take from his team-mates. Find out what the Germany international had to say below...
Shot?
Mikel Arteta’s shot is not bad! He’s made some great goals and I’d like to see me with his shot and score my first goal.
Brain?
Carl Jenkinson. I like to speak with him but I want to know what he thinks about me and what he thinks about my English!
Car?
I like my car actually but I know Theo has a Ferrari and although I don’t think it would fit with my body, I’d like to try it.
Footwork?
Robin van Persie – he’s very skilful and sometimes in training you have problems following him.
Bling?
At the moment I don’t need any bling bling but Songo is a player with a lot of bling bling – very strange!
Temperament?
Emmanuel Frimpong – he’s a fighter on the pitch. I would like some of his temperament!
