This summer, over 200 football mad youngsters flocked to Arsenal Soccer Schools’ week-long residential camps in Hampshire and West Sussex.
The participants had the chance to eat, sleep and breathe football for five days straight, on courses based on the same principals employed by Arsene Wenger at the Gunners’ training ground. There was the opportunity to develop and learn new skills and the chance to put them into practise in matches against local teams.
The youngsters were also treated to a special trip to Emirates Stadium, where they were given a behind-the-scenes tour.
The Arsenal Soccer Schools residential programme has been running for over 20 years, and gives boys and girls the opportunity, whatever their football ability, to live, learn and experience football coaching the Arsenal way.
