A day in Arsenal's history - Gallery

Junior Gunners at Woolwich

On June 6 we took 125 of you aged between eight and 12 on a fun day out to learn more about your favourite club!

As it was our final event for Season 2014/15, we teamed up with the Royal Artillery - where Arsenal Football Club was born - so that the JGs could get an experience of a lifetime.

After being picked up at Emirates Stadium in the morning, we drove down to Westminister Pier where we embarked on a tour of London on our very own boat! Our tour guide Steve talked all about London’s different landmarks and the JGs enjoyed a quiz about Arsenal.

Upon arrival at the Woolwich Arsenal pier loads of guards greeted us and we started on a fun day. The JGs enjoyed a range of activities, including a historic tour of the site, medal making arts & crafts, a short drills session, Arsenal Soccer Schools skills session, urban football challenges and they even got to have their photo taken with the FA Cup.

Gunnersaurus was there as well – and had fun alongside the JGs.
