Once again, we decided to surprise a Junior Gunner with the news they had been picked at random to be our mascot.

This time the surprise was for JG Lili who had been selected to be our mascot for The Emirates FA Cup Final, taking place on Saturday, May 27th. Kieran Gibbs, Olivier Giroud, Arsenal In The Community and Lili's school, all pitched in to help us deliver the news.

For the surprise, our Community representative Jack visited Lili's school and gave her class some schooling on the business of football. Mid-speech Jack was interrupted by a video call from Kieran and Olivier, who were at the Arsenal Training Centre. The boys chatted with the class and requested to speak to Lili to deliver their message...

With a little on-site assistance from Gunnersaurus, Kieran and Olivier told Lili she'd been selected to be our mascot for the upcoming final! As our mascot, Lili was presented with a full kit and tickets for some of her family to attend the match and see her in action. Lili will get the chance to escort the Arsenal team onto the pitch ahead of kick-off.

Tune into the video above to see the announcement and Lili’s reaction. We hope Lili and her family enjoy the experience!
