You may remember that a while ago, we ran a competition where lucky Junior Gunners could win a guided tour of Arsenal's training ground at London Colney.
Well, on Tuesday, February 19, the day finally arrived for our 50 winners.
They got the chance to take a peek at where the only players, coaches, and Arsenal staff work on a daily basis. Their tour included an exclusive look at the pitches, gym, medical centre and changing rooms.
After learning all about everythign that goes on at Colney, the JGs were treated to a Premier League footballer's lunch in the players' restaurant. This was followed by a Soccer Schools coaching session and matches which gave them plenty of time to play football on the same pitches that their heroes train on!
Junior Gunner Josh said: “From the moment we got on the coach to the time we got back we were treated fantastically by the club and I enjoyed every bit of the day, especially meeting Kieran Gibbs and Lukasz Fabianski! As soon as I got home I wrote this and went out to play even more football on my own little bit of AstroTurf in the garden!!”
