Join Arsenal in the Community courses

This week is a big week for loads of you as you are receiving your GCSE results! Good luck to you all!

If you are aged between 16 and 18 and keen to study a two-year BTEC level three in sports, development coaching and fitness then make sure you check out what Arsenal in the Community can offer.

From the course’s base in the Arsenal Hub next to Emirates Stadium, participants will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to progress towards employment or further education.

This free programme, which starts in a few weeks, in September, will teach participants the key elements of community sports coaching, with a particular focus on football. Participants will also receive practical coaching experience and will be mentored towards FA level one and two coaching badges.

The training programme has been a cornerstone of Arsenal in the Community since the 1980s. More than 900 individuals have come through the programme in the past 30 years, including Arsenal Ladies’ star Rachel Yankey and Millwall’s Head of Academy Sports and Medicine, Nick Irwin.
