JGs watch north London derby in style

Junior Gunners screening

On Sunday, March 3, 400 Junior Gunners flocked to the Emirates to watch a screening of our north London derby away at Tottenham Hotspur and test out their football skills with a variety of different challenges.

The whole of the Royal Oak suite was decorated for the big derby match and numerous activities were set up to entertain our loyal fans.

A range of urban football challenges were put in place in the Highbury Suite, including a speed cage, target practice, a kicking distance radar and a kick point. A Batak machine, which is used by the Arsenal pros to improve reflexes, was also put through its paces by the youngsters.

The JGs were also given the opportunity to play air hockey, table football and challenge a fellow fan to a game of EA SPORTS FIFA 13 and Gunnersaurus popped by to pose for pictures with his fans too.

Unfortunately the match didn’t end as we all hoped it would – however the young fans had a great day at Emirates Stadium meeting fellow young supporters.

You can look at some exclusive pictures form the event by viewing our picture gallery below. All event attendees will receive an email from the Junior Gunners Team on Thursday with instructions on how you can download the pictures from the day.
