  • Olympiacos were founded in 1925, making them just 87 years old

Montpellier

Full name: Montpellier Hérault Sport Club
Last season: 1st (Ligue 1)

  • Montpellier won their first ever Ligue 1 title last season
  • Summer signing Olivier Giroud helped the French side win the title last season, scoring 21 league goals (making him joint-top league goalscorer)
  • The club were only founded through a merger in 1974
