For the Manchester United v Arsenal match at Old Trafford last month, JG Presenting Partner Indesit, ran a fantastic competition giving our Junior Gunners the chance to win the ultimate away trip experience.

To enter we asked the JGs to tell us, if they won, who they would take with them to the match and why? We challenged our young fans to come up with a creative entry and boy did they deliver! After receiving loads of brilliant entries we decided we also had to award a second and third place prize, giving away some great Arsenal goodies.

JG Andrew took the third place position, winning an Arsenal goodie bag packed full of Junior Gunners accessories, and in second place, Lily won herself a squad photo signed by members of the Arsenal first team!

After much deliberation the first place prize was awarded to brothers Alex and Ben, who had created an amazing video, with a little help from the rest of their family. For their prize, Indesit provided Alex and Ben with four tickets to the match, accommodation for two nights in Manchester as well as train travel to the north!

It sounds as though Alex, Ben and their parents really made the most of their weekend in Manchester. On the Saturday they made a trip to the National Football museum, catching a glimpse of some of the trophies and getting involved with the interactive football games. On Sunday, before heading to the match, they took a trip to the BBC media city for a quick look around.

Dad Andy thanked Indesit for the great prize and said: "There was much excitement before the match, they enjoyed learning a couple of the new songs, the Mesut Ozil song in particular… The game started well, but Arsenal's performance obviously didn't live up to our expectations. Still, a very memorable weekend. Great accommodation, and relaxing train travel.”

Alex said: “Thank you very much for choosing us to win the prize. I had a great time, even though I saw Arsenal lose for the first time. It was my 13th game.... My favourite bit of the weekend, as well as watching Arsenal at Man United, was the big breakfasts in the hotel!”

Ben added “I loved going to Old Trafford to watch Arsenal, and was very disappointed that they lost. I liked learning the Mesut Ozil song, and also getting to hold the FA Cup and Premier League trophy at the football museum. Thank you Junior Gunners!”
