My annual visit to the South East Essex Supporters Club event being held in Hullbridge, Essex. Apart from being a fun day with lots of giveaways there was also a Arsenal celebrity match against the local team. In the line-up for Arsenal was Ian Selley and Jimmy Carter, two former players, and also stars from the television. Arsenal won 5-3 and I got involved with the presentations at the end of the match.
Thursday, June 7
Kit launch day. I had to be at The Armoury superstore at eight o’clock for the launch of our brand new kit for next season. The first 100 fans through the doors not only got their new kit but also a free Arsenal football!
On the concourse above the store we had a bouncy castle as well as games for all the visitors. There was free candy floss and ice cream and later in the evening we had The Rifles playing in the store.
It was great to see everyone wearing their new shirts - I had mine on as well! I think the new shirt looks really cool and I can’t wait to see everyone wearing theirs at the Emirates next season.
