Lots to catch up on over the last few weeks, but firstly I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year. I know I did, so let’s hope for a great run-in to the end of the season.
Saturday, December 17
A few days before Christmas we had Gunner's Grotto in the Armoury, where I met lots of Junior Gunners who had come along for a special Christmas picture with me. I had so many hugs and cuddles, it made it the best Christmas ever.
Sunday, December 18
After our victory over Everton we went to the Etihad Stadium and put up a great display, but went down 1-0 in the end. Did you see my friend, Moonshine, the City mascot?
Wednesday, December 21
It was off to Villa Park, where a late Yossi Benayoun goal from Robin’s corner gave us a 2-1 victory. We also saw Marc Albrighton score the Premier League's 20,000th goal!
Friday, December 23
We had our Junior Gunners Festive Funday, where over 500 Junior Gunners came to the stadium to watch the players train and later on gather some autographs.
Inbetween they had quizzes, games and played football. I was around to meet all the boys and girls, as well as their mums and dads as they arrived for their big day. Everyone met Santa at the end and he gave them all a goodie bag.
Tuesday, December 27
Our game on Boxing Day was postponed so I had two days of doing nothing but eating - you should have seen the size of me! I’m sure the boys will whip me back into shape when I return to training. A disappointing 1-1 draw with Wolves left us further behind in the title race. I had my usual duties on match day to meet both teams and the mascots before kick-off.
Saturday, December 31
We got back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory against QPR. Robin got the only goal. At the end of the match I had a special visit to make to an 83-year-old lady celebrating her birthday. She had always wanted to meet me so it was my pleasure!
Monday, January 2
We lost 2-1 at Craven Cottage after dominating the game in the first half but we just could not get the second goal, missing lots of chances.
Monday, January 9
I popped back to our store in Hatfield for a couple of days at the weekend before our FA Cup game with Leeds United on Monday night. Before kick-off I met the players as they arrived - and guess who was on the team coach? Yes, Thierry Henry, who has re-signed for us on loan for a couple of months! We had a big hug and he asked me if I was OK.
I also met David Beckham, who was at the match with his children. As I walked around the pitch before kick-off I said hello to Martin Keown and Robbie Savage. I also stopped to see the Leeds fans who came down for the match - there were over 5,000 of them!
With 20 minutes of the match remaining, Thierry was thrown into action and within a few minutes it happened. He scored his 227th goal, a classic sidefoot that we have all seen many times before. The crowd went mad, me included. We won 1-0 and now face Aston Villa in the next round.
Wednesday, January 11
I went to a school in Islington for a 2012 Olympic event. I met Darren Campbell, Graham Le Saux (ex-Chelsea) Richard Scudamore and stars from the world of table tennis, badminton, judo, hockey, basketball and netball, who will all be taking part in this year's London games. I had a go at judo and was put flat on my back a couple of times, but my table tennis was pretty good.
Thursday, January 12
It was off to the training ground for some pictures with the players. Alex, Andrey, Yossi, Thierry and Robin were all there in good spirits!
I'll be off to a birthday party for a young Junior Gunner, so that should be fun meeting him and all of his friends! I’ve got lots of goodie bags for them so we should have a good time. Most of all for Sunday, three points at Swansea please!
See you all soon
