Annual 3v3 competition held at Underhill

Arsenal Soccer Schools held their annual 3v3 World Cup at Underhill on Saturday, August 3.

All in all, 15 different regions took part, with London winning the championship and South West taking home the shield.

After the tournament had finished, all participants, parents and coaches made their way to Emirates Stadium to watch Arsenal take on Napoli in the Emirates Cup.

Soccer Schools coach Joe said: “The 3v3 World Cup is a wonderful opportunity to bring together Arsenal Soccer Schools players from all over the world, to compete in a fun environment.

“The tournament showcased some fantastic skills and sportsmanship from every team, and brought to light the Arsenal philosophy.

“Knowing that once the tournament was completed each child would visit Emirates Stadium to watch the Arsenal first team participate in the Emirates Cup inspired the level of football played on the day.

“Overall the Arsenal Soccer Schools 3v3 World Cup was a huge success, and we look forward to making next year’s event even bigger and better!”
