What time do you usually get up in the morning?
At about quarter past nine.

What’s your first drink of the day?
Just a glass of water.

What do you usually eat for breakfast?
Normally just a cereal bar.

Do you read the newspaper?
Yes – generally whatever’s lying around at the training ground.

Before heading to training, is there anything else that you generally do?
Not much – it’s just breakfast, shower, then off to training!

How long does it take you to drive to the training ground?
No more than 15 minutes

And what car do you drive there?
I drive a Mini.

Do you listen to music in the car – if on the radio, what station?
Yes, generally my own collection – American music and a lot of African and French stuff as well.

Are you usually one of the first to training – or one of the last?
Neither - I'd put myself somewhere in the middle.

Do you always go on your own?

What do you keep in your locker?
Just some kit and a few clothes, nothing much.

On the training pitches do you have any special warm up routines?
Nothing beyond the usual stretches.

What aspect of training do you enjoy the most?
All of it really – I love the fact that I can play football every day.

Which team-mate do you think is the best trainer?
Andrey Arshavin works really hard.

After training what do you take into the shower?
Shampoo and my towel.

Who do you tend to sit with at lunch?
It depends who’s about really – I’ll join in with whoever is up there when I go.

Do you always go straight home after training – if not where might you go?
Sometimes I go shopping or to see a few friends, but it depends.

What do you tend to do when you get home?
I relax for a bit, watch DVDs and enjoy some downtime.

What time do you eat dinner?
Usually around 7pm.

Tell us three things that you might you do in the evening?
Go and meet friends for dinner, come back, watch a bit of TV and then go to sleep.

What’s the last thing you do before going to bed?
Clean my teeth, probably!

What time do you go to bed?
At about 11pm.

And in bed do you tend to read, listen to music or go straight to sleep?
I always go straight to sleep – no reading or TV!
