What time do you usually get up in the morning?
At 8.30am.

What’s your first drink of the day?
Normally a glass of water.

What do you usually eat for breakfast?
Just some cereal with milk.

Do you read the newspaper?
Not usually.

Before heading to training, is there anything else that you generally do?
I drop my children off at school before driving to the training ground.

How long does it take you to drive to the training ground?
About half an hour.

And what car do you drive there?
An Audi Q7.

Do you listen to music or the radio on the way in?
I always listen to music on my iPod.

Do you always travel on your own?
Most of the time, yes.

Are you usually one of the first in training – or one of the last?
Generally one of the first!

What do you keep in your locker?
My boots, my phone and my keys – also my washbag, with moisturiser and things like that.

What aspect of training do you enjoy the most?
The matches that we play.

Which team-mate do you think is the best trainer?
Probably Laurent Koscielny.

Who do you tend to sit with at lunch?
Anyone! Whoever is around.

Do you always head home straight after training?
Normally straight home, yes.

What do you tend to do when you get home?
I rest on the sofa and listen to music, or look on my computer.

Tell us three things that you might do in the evening?
First I’ll have dinner, then maybe watch television, and then put the children to bed.

What’s the last thing you do before going to bed?
Clean my teeth and use the bathroom.

What time do you go to bed?
Usually 10.30pm at the latest.

In bed do you tend to read, watch TV listen to music or go straight to sleep?
Straight to sleep!
