After bursting onto the first team scene last season with some outstanding displays and crucial saves, Wojciech is now looking to further cement his place in the team and become a permanent fixture 'between the sticks' at Emirates Stadium.

Wojciech came into the team following injuries to both Manuel Almunia and Lukas Fabianski and quickly proved he was more than ready to become a first team regular. Playing a key part in some of the most memorable matches in our recent history with victories over Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester United, Wojciech will be looking to build upon that experience and create many more special memories for Arsenal fans, but especially Junior Gunners as he becomes our Young Guns ambassador this season.

After coming through the youth set up at the Club Wojciech, at just 19, has already spent XX years as an Arsenal player and is hoping there's many more to come.

"Last season was a special time for me. It's never nice when your team-mates get injured, but as a goalkeeper you can get few opportunities to show what you can do. I was determined to prove myself and I felt that I did well when I had the chance, but I'll looking to build on that next season.

"At 19 I'm not much older than our Young Guns so I know just what it means to be a huge football fan - you think about it 24/7 and it's the most important thing. Having our Junior Gunners behind us means so much to the team so thank you for your support and keep it up this season, it makes a huge difference when we're out on the pitch."
