Stanley Briggs spent less than three months with Woolwich Arsenal.
The centre half joined as an amateur in October 1893 and made his league debut against Rotherham Town later that month.

He played once more in a 6-2 defeat to Burton Swifts before leaving the Club.
As an amateur he also played for Tottenham Hotspur, Clapton, Corinthians, London Caledonians, Millwall Athletic, Richmond and Upton Park.
He later played for Clapton and Shepherds Bush before emigrating to Canada.
