The outside right struggled to make an impact during his four-year spell with the Club despite a useful goalscoring return from the wing in friendlies.
He made three senior league appearances and all three came in the space of a month, the first against Preston in October 1938.
He bowed out of the Arsenal first-team picture with a 3-2 defeat against Leeds and later joined Derby County for £2,000 before eventually moving into management with Hednesford Town.
