An England schoolboy international, Michael Black helped Arsenal to FA Youth Cup success in 1994.
The midfielder was part of the side that defeated Millwall 5-3 on aggregate in the Final.
His solitary first-team appearance came as a substitute in a Champions League match away at Panathinaikos in December 1998. The Gunners won 3-1 and put in a classy performance, despite having 14 first-teamers unavailable.
After loan spells at Brentford and Millwall, Black moved to Tranmere Rovers in July 1999.
