French Youth left-back David Grondin made his solitary Premiership appearance in Arsenal's 0-0 draw at home to Liverpool in January 1999.
Previously with St Etienne, he moved to Highbury for £500,000 in July 1998 and made his first-team debut in Arsenal's 2-1 Worthington Cup third round win at Derby County.
