England Youth full-back Kerrea Gilbert played for Arsenal in both legs of the 2005/06 Carling Cup semi-final.
He progressed through the ranks at Highbury and turned professional in July 2005, making his first-team debut in the Gunners' 3-0 victory at home to Reading in the Carling Cup fourth round four months later.

Also featuring in the 0-0 draw with Ajax in the Champions League and FA Cup-ties against Cardiff City and Bolton Wanderers, he was given his Premiership debut in Arsenal's 1-0 defeat at Everton.
