Fred Coles
Fred Coles joined Woolwich Arsenal from Nottingham Forest in June 1900.
The half back enjoyed a successful four-year spell at the Club and started 86 matches as the Gunners won promotion to the First Division in 1903/04.

Coles made his senior debut in the league in a 1-0 victory over Chesterfield in September 1900 and held down a regular place until his final season.
He left to join Grimsby Town in June 1904 after Woolwich Arsenal's promotion before later becoming a cricket and football coach in Gothenburg, Sweden. He was also trainer of Hague in Holland between 1910 and 1911.
