The Junior Gunners and Arsenal Soccer Schools team are once again hitting the road this summer with our ‘Gunners on the Road' interactive centre.
Last summer over 6,000 football fans joined us to get a sneak preview of life behind the scenes at Arsenal. This summer we'll be heading back around the UK, heading to many of the towns and cities we visited last year and stopping off in some new places too!
The virtual tour starts at the Arsenal Training Centre, beginning with an introduction to Arsenal's coaching staff via a video message. There'll be the chance to sample some of the players' training methods, and visitors can test their reaction speeds against one another on the two-player Batak Wall, a hi-tech gym machine used by the team to improve reflexes.
There will then be an opportunity for participants to test their footballing stats with those of the Arsenal first team at the replica ‘Colney' training ground.
The Emirates Stadium experience will give youngsters access to a virtual Players' Dressing Room and an insight into the players' matchday preparations.
The changing room will be followed by the chance to sample the adrenaline rush of heading down the players' tunnel to the sounds of an Emirates crowd, where visitors will be led out onto an astro-turf football pitch and a penalty shootout brings the tour to an end.
The event is free for all to attend and those who register in advance can claim a free gift on the day. Plus, everyone will have the chance to win some great prizes on the penalty shoot-out, including tickets to an Arsenal home match during the 2012/2013 season.
