A man with red and white coursing through his veins, Vic was born in Islington and has worked for the Club since 1985.
He originally headed up the Gunners’ fledgling Community Department to great effect, before taking on first-team kit management duties shortly after Arsène Wenger took over as manager.
He can be seen organising substitutions during matches, and plays a crucial role in preparing the kit that players and staff require to perform their jobs to the maximum.
Vic was a left-back in his playing days, making 129 appearances for Cambridge United in the early 1970s and also enjoying a spell at Watford.
He’s hugely respected in the football world for the work he carried out during his remarkable tenure as manager and founder of Arsenal Ladies, a role he relinquished at the end of 2008/09. He was presented with an OBE in 2010 in honour of his services to football.
