Last season was Simon’s first full campaign with the medical department, where he works alongside the likes of Colin Lewin and David Wales in the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries.
Since qualifying 16 years ago, he has worked with a range of high-performance athletes and teams across a number of sports, touring the world with some of them. Much of his work has involved rugby, and he has been involved with both Ulster and Ireland. Prior to joining Arsenal, he worked at the Sports Institute of Northern Ireland.
A positive, friendly and highly-talented member of the medical staff, Simon enjoyed a good first season at the Club and will once again be a vital member of the team in 2011/12.
