Paul Akers

Now more than a decade into his time at the Club, Paul provides essential support to his father, Vic, in the kit management department.

He helps ensure that all the players’ exacting kit needs are met at every first-team fixture, home and away.

He is often one of the last to leave the stadium on a matchday, and has been known to work through the night after European away trips to ensure that all kit finds its way back to the Gunners’ training ground ahead of the next day’s session.

He has deputised for his father on the occasions when Vic’s role with Arsenal Ladies clashed with first-team affairs, and has also taken sole responsibility for kit-related issues on pre-season tours.
