Terms and Conditions

  1. This competition (ÒCompetitionÓ) is open to Junior Gunners between 4 and 16. Proof of membership may be required.
  2. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering this Competition.
  3. To take part in this Competition visit www.arsenal.com/juniorgunners. You will need to answer the multiple choice questions correctly and enter your full name, phone number and email address along with parent/guardian contact information. Maximum of one entry per person.
  4. Closing date: All entries must be received (UK time) on 5th February, 9am, 2013.  
  5. The Club does not accept responsibility for network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry. Entries must not be sent in through agents or third parties. Incomplete entries, and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions, will be disqualified and will not be counted.
  6. 400 winner(s) will be selected by the Club at random from all complete, correct and eligible entries received before the closing date.
  7. Winner(s) will be notified by email by 6pm on or around February 6th 2013.  Winners will be required to confirm their attendance to AFCEvents@arsenal.co.uk before the deadline provided in the invite.
  8. Prize: To attend the event at Emirates Stadium on Sunday 3rd March 2013, taking part in a number of activities and watch the Tottenham screening. Children will be supervised by Club officials who have been fully CRB checked. All JGs must be accompanied by an adult at all time. Event attendees can bring food and beverages to the event.
  9. The prize does not include travel costs, personal expenditure and any other incidental costs.
  10. The event may be filmed and still images taken and you and/or your child may be identifiable in such photographic images and/or video recordings.  By entering this Competition, you acknowledge that photographic images and/or video recordings and/or stills taken from those video recordings may be taken of you and/or your child and may also be used by the Club and its associated companies for marketing and/or promotional purposes, and you consent to such use by the Club and its associated company, through all media channels.
  11. If the Club is unable to run the event for reasons beyond its control, it shall not be obliged to provide any alternative or substitute prize.  There is no cash alternative to the prize (or any part of it) and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prizes are non-transferable.
  12. If any winner is not able, for any reason, to accept a prize, or cannot be contacted within 7 days of the draw date, the Club reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.
  13. The ClubÕs decisions shall be final and binding in all respects on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry rules and conditions will be disqualified.
  14. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law, the Club and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from:

a) any postponement or cancellation of the Competition, and

b) any changes to, supply of (including, without limitation, prizes which do not reach the intended recipient), or use of the prize, and

c) any act or default of any third party supplier,

which are beyond the ClubÕs reasonable control.

  1. Details of prize winnersÕ names and county will be available for one month after the close of the Competition by writing to the Club at the address set out below and stating the name and closing date of the Competition.
  2. Winner(s) agree to allow the Club to use their name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional remuneration.
  3. The Club will use each winnerÕs, and each entrantÕs, personal details for the purpose of administering this Competition.  Please see our Privacy Policy (www.arsenal.com/privacy-policy) for further details. 
  4. This Competition, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Competition.
