Jernade left Arsenal in 2013 after nine years with the club to join Swansea City.

The versatile left-flanker demonstrated his value to the Gunners’ academy with a series of accomplished displays in both defence and attack, and made his first-team debut in the dramatic 7-5 extra-time victory against Reading the League Cup fourth round.
