Lee Smelt

Now in his third season with the Gunners, Lee works with the Club’s young goalkeepers as they look to equip themselves for future first-team football.

He arrived in the summer of 2010 after occupying a similar role at Charlton Athletic for 12 years. Prior to that he worked with Cardiff City’s academy and undertook managerial roles with several non-league clubs.

A successful playing career saw him begin with Colchester United before being Peter Shilton’s understudy at Nottingham Forest.
