Dennis Bergkamp has seen plenty of football stadia in his time but even he was impressed by Arsenal's new home after taking a look around earlier this week.
Emirates Stadium hosts its first game this weekend - Bergkamp's testimonial - and the Dutch master believes the state-of-the-art venue can inspire Arsène Wenger's squad when they kick off the new season.
"It looks fantastic," said Bergkamp. "I think a club like Arsenal deserves such a stadium. Everything looks right, I've been in the dressing room today for the first time with the team and it looks good.
"I think every player will be inspired by it and oponents will be inspired by it too. I remember playing for Holland against England at Wembley and, for any foreign player, going to a stadium like that gives you something extra.
"I just hope it will give more to the Arsenal players than they realise. With the progress Arsenal have made, they will fight for their honour, so to speak, to make everyone proud.
"I'm a little bit sorry that I won't be part of it but on the other hand I had some tremendous years at Highbury and it's time to move on."
