Three former Arsenal players have been on the move in the build-up to the closure of the transfer window.
Striker Sylvain Wiltord has reportedly joined Lyon. The 31-year-old who was released by Arsenal and the end of his contract last season has signed a two-year deal with the French champions.
Wiltord, who scored 49 goals in 175 for the Club, had been training with Rennes. He could make his debut against that side in Lyon's next French League on September 11.
Elsewhere another former Arsenal striker, Jay Bothroyd, has linked up with Blackburn Rovers on loan.
Last season the 22-year-old was playing for Perugia and was the only Englishman in Serie A. He went to Italy after three seasons at Coventry. Ironically, he had left Highbury to join the Sky Blues at the end of the 1999/2000 campaign after scoring in the FA Youth Cup final over the Highfield Road club. He never played a first-team game for Arsenal.
Finally, Junichi Inamoto has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Premiership side West Brom.
The Japanese midfielder spent the 2001-02 campaign at Arsenal, starting two games and coming off the bench in another two, before spending two seasons at Fulham.
