John Robson made his final appearance in an Arsenal shirt as the
Gunners won 5-2 against Manchester City.

Prolific striker Geoff Strong was sold to Liverpool. He scored 77
times in 137 appearances for Arsenal.
1992
Alan Smith, Ian Wright and Kevin Campbell all scored in a 3-0 win
over Coventry City. The result moved Arsenal to the top of the
Premier League.
