DOUBLES DAY OFFER
To celebrate tonight's 'Doubles Day' matchday theme,
refreshment outlets inside the stadium will be featuring a special
offer - buy a hot dog, get a Double Decker free!
WHERE DO YOU PARK?
New matchday parking restrictions will be in place from the
Birmingham City match on Sunday, October 2. The Club would like to
inform supporters that new matchday parking controls have been
introduced by Islington Council in hundreds of local residential
streets. On September 30, 2005 'Zone E' of the matchday
parking scheme will come into force. These new controls will be in
place for the next home game against Birmingham City on Sunday,
October 2, 2005 and are in addition to existing match day parking
controls in surrounding areas. If you are planning to use your car
you will no longer be able to park around Highbury Fields, Holloway
Road or Upper Street unless you are an Islington resident with the
correct parking permit or you hold a legitimate Blue Badge.
A map showing the streets included in the new 'Zone E' can be found on Islington Council's website www.islington.gov.uk/matchdayparking. Please check this website to see which streets are included in 'Zone E' to avoid your vehicle being removed and receiving a fine from Sunday, October 2 onwards. It is recommended that you avoid travelling to Highbury, and Emirates Stadium in the future, by car. Please use the Transport for London journey planner to plan your journey to Highbury (www.tfl.gov.uk).

Islington.
Travel options to Highbury:
London Underground and Mainline rail
Supporters should consider the use of the Victoria Line to either
Highbury & Islington or Finsbury Park stations, dependent on
where you are coming from and where you sit in the stadium. If your
seat is located towards the south of the stadium (Clock End), it is
advised that you alight at Highbury & Islington station,
approximately 15 minutes walk to the stadium. If your seat is
located towards the north of the stadium, it is advised that you
alight at Finsbury Park station, approximately ten minutes walk to
the stadium. Supporters using the Northern line can travel to
Archway and catch a bus down Holloway Road. Regular WAGN mainline
services also depart from King's Cross to Finsbury Park
station, approximately ten minutes walk to the stadium.
Bus
Buses are a fast, convenient and high frequency
option. Regular services take you within a short walk of the
stadium and direct routes cover much of north and central London.
Frequent buses serve the Highbury area directly from King's
Cross, Camden, Crouch End, Archway, Hackney, Canary Wharf, London
Bridge and Angel. The nearest bus stops to the stadium are located
on Blackstock Road, Highbury Corner, Holloway Road and Finsbury
Park.
Car
Despite public transport disruptions, car parking
restrictions around Arsenal Stadium remain and supporters are
strongly advised to use public transport and not to travel by
private car. Arsenal Stadium is situated in a mainly residential
area with an extensive Event Day Parking Scheme in operation. Only
car owners with residents' permits will be allowed to park
on-street in the designated areas and any cars parked illegally
will be ticketed and may be towed away. Please refer to the
Islington Council web site for further information: www.islington.gov.uk
Journey Planning
Before starting your journey, the Club advises that supporters
check available travel options through www.tfl.gov.uk or by telephone on 020
7222 1234. For further assistance, supporters may wish to refer to
the 'Journey Planner' section on www.tfl.gov.uk. Please enter a journey
starting point and 'Arsenal Football Club' as the final
destination to receive information on your best route for travel.
The Club section of www.arsenal.com also contains relevant
travel information.
BAG POLICY AT HIGHBURY
Supporters coming to Highbury are reminded at this
time of heightened security, that all bags will be searched on
entry to the stadium. Consequently, in order to minimise congestion
and delays, the Club requests that fans only bring bags to the
stadium if absolutely necessary. All supporters are asked to keep
their possessions with them at all times. Failure to do so could
lead to disruption and individuals being ejected from the stadium.
Finally, the Club kindly asks that all supporters enter the stadium
earlier than usual to guarantee access by kick off.
